Ngā whakawhanaunga | Networking

An opportunity to learn about the Mentoring Programme, network with others, and explore opportunities to unlock your potential.

Foundation workshop

A one-day workshop to gain a basic understanding of mentoring, while offering practical tools and techniques to apply to any relationship.

Advanced workshop

A three-day workshop where participants learn more about becoming an ‘Advanced Practitioner’ – a globally accredited mentoring and coaching award. Gain deeper understanding of mentoring techniques and leadership competencies.

 

Professional Development

A platform for all to learn about how to empower themselves and others with necessary skills, knowledge and mind-set to effectively achieve goals and unlock potential.

Group supervision

A collaborative opportunity for mentors to come together to discuss their mentoring techniques, share insights, and offer guidance and support.

Taumata whakamanatanga | Accreditation levels

The RNZAF Mentoring Programme provides a route to the prestigious European Individual Award (EIA) from EMCC, representing the highest coaching and mentoring training level within NZDF.

For EIA consideration, participation in a one-day foundation workshop, attendance at a three-day advanced practitioner workshop, and a minimum two-year program involvement are required.

Length of experience Foundation: 2 years
Practitioner: 3-4 years
Senior Practitioner: 5-6 years
Master Practitioner: 7-8 years
Number of contact hours Foundation: 50 hours
Practitioner: 100 hours
Senior Practitioner: 250 hours
Master Practitioner: 500 hours
Number of clients Foundation: 5 clients
Practitioner: 10 clients
Senior Practitioner: 20 clients
Master Practitioner: 40+ clients

Levels of accreditation

Ongoing professional development

Continuous professional development Foundation: 16 hours per year
Practitioner: 16 hours per year
Senior Practitioner: 32 hours per year
Master Practitioner: 48 hours per year
Supervision Foundation: 1 hr per quarter
Practitioner: 1 hr per quarter
Senior Practitioner: 1 hr per 35 hrs
Master Practitioner: 1 hr per 35 hrs
